I made
gyoza and udon wakame(seaweed) for dinner tonight.
I never thought of making gyozas.
Until one of my male friends decided to pick up wanton skins to make some wantons.
It is then, I caught sight of the gyoza skins sititng on the cold shleves.
Next, was buying minced pork meat, carrots, onions, garlic and ginger for its inner ingredients.
I was 100% ignorant of what was supposed to be inside a gyoza,
Hence,
I called it-- my own version of "
Fusion Gyoza" :P.
After tossing every ingredient mentioned above cut into tiny bits and pieces,
I added kikoman sauce, a bit of sugar, and few pinches of salt to taste.
Then, the next step was filling the gyoza skins with 2.5teaspoons of fillings
And fold them up continuously following a same direction.
I used egg whites as "glue" to stick the fold.
However, for the cooking part.
I experimented them in three very different ways,
1.Pan-Grilled2.Boil3.Steam(Low resolution pictures, taken by my camera phone)

I personally liked pan-grilled gyozas :)
they came out crispy and smelled good :D
But what I really need here is...
A good non-stick pan to make the grilling even.
Give it a try,
it'll make both a good snack/appetizer.
Enjoy :)
