Kebabs
sharwarma is an arabic word, widely known as "kebab" all around the world.
This delicious fast food wrap is shared among three countries :
Armenian (Tarna) ,
Greece (gyros) and
Turkey( doner kebab)

Its a food wrap with choices of either lamb, chicken or beef strips commonly wrapped in pita bread. Some stores may offer a combination of two meat selections making it more of a wonderful speciality accompanied with either garlic sauce ( blend of yoghurt & mayonaise & garlic bits ) , tahini , Amba sauce ( pickled mango with Chilbeh ) or blend of spices ( cardamon, cinammon , nutmeg ) with vinegar to give its exotic taste.

Vegetables are too, found inside this scrumptious wrap.
The more commonly used ones are such as cucumbers, lettuce , onions , pickled gherkins , turnip, eggplant ,tomatoes and carrots strips.
However, in countries such as Gordan and Romania , queer as it might sound, french fries were used instead. Mhmmm?

For its preparation , raw marinated meat is roasted slowly in a large stack in front of a woodfire or gas flame for several hours. When ready to serve, a knife is used to shave off the meat into bits or strips , and is evenly placed on a pita bread .Next, throw in a few scoops of sauce or sprinkle spices of your choice. Alas, top it with a few choices of vegetable to complete its taste.

Some additional information:
Turkey meat can be used to replace chicken ,whereas fish , sausages and mutton as the less common alternatives,

Best wishes,
white glitters.
