"People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
...The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway."

Tutorial

The need to do 3 criminal tutorial essays on a birthday night, so enjoyableeeeeeeeeee~

Celebrated my birthday early with my parents back at home.
I love this cake a lot, I took two car rides to the coffee shop to get a slice, but failed to buy one at these two occasions,
so I thought it would be nice to have a home-made cake ordered this year,
a simple sponge cake layered with cream cheese yet delicious to its last bite.
A very uncontrollable crave, once you get to it.
I'm glad I have this cake for my birthday this year.
Many thanks to my parents for paying it for me,couldn't be more grateful than other material stuff.
Thanks for this blessing

Friendship
I'm being very passionate tonight:)
While pinching my pimple in front of the mirror hanging in my room,(Those who knew me knows I do this quite often Ha-ha :P)
I was thinking of todays outing with my bestfriend Jasmine.
I enjoyed it a lot :) Although it was just two of us,
I picked up my bestie from her home around 10.30am and we reached the library around 11am and stayed there to chit chat while practicing our japanese words till 1.30pm,
Later,we headed to the 7th bridge restaurant house on top of sea to have lunch--sweet and sour chicken chip and garlic wok fried yau mak.
Yum :) It was a comfortable afternoon, as the sun was bright and we ate while looking at the view of the sea,
And we talked about food ,
It was such a tourist-y moment HAHA.

Boy,I missed these kinds of outings so much,
How Jasmine and I use to meet up at the local library during secondary school holidays to read books and do our bible homework for girls brigade,
But most of the time we did more bonding than our work :D Nyehehe,
Both of us would pick the spot where the view overlooks the sea,
And we could easily spot a few boats in scattered positions on the surface of the sea.
Once in a while, in the mid of chatting or doing work,
we would stop, and look at the sea dreamily, and later praise how awesome the view has always been, both of us felt so lucky to stay in a town which has a library overlooking the sea.

I love the town library,it always reminds me of really good memories I had there,
Hung out there twice during Primary school with Ah ying,Nurul and jacinta during primary five and six,
Where we were still rowdy kids,
running here and there, talking softly and laughing out loudly,
Bounce on the springy sofas, laugh at illustrations in the books,
Annoying the security guard, annoying the dogs at the walkway basement (quite surprised to find them tie to a corner)
What good days:)

And secondary school, with Alyssa several times,
I remembered baking scones and making jellies and brought it there for her and told her that we should have picnic at the grassland area of the library.
Im such as picnic person, I don't know why, reason->might too much of Enid Blyton reading poison,
I still love picnics, I suggest it to basically everyone I'm close with,
I just did that last month haha during jogging, so happy :)

Ah...still remember going to the library for newspaper reading and essay competition during bulan membaca LOL.
And got mysef back an orange bag that has the library logo and quote:" Bangsa membaca, Bangsa berjaya"
believe it or not,
Mum and I are still using it .Hahas. so Nerdy. pfft. I dont care. Ish.
It makes me happy cos the staff recognises the library bag and they'll be grinning at us whenever they see it..haha!
I still remembered the moment I got that bag a prize for a competition, how much had I complaint the ugliness of the bag to my mum,
I even told mum the library is stingy to give such an ugly bag,
they could have gave something better or snacks that could be eaten and digested.LOL.
Orange color summore, remind me of mandarin that we eat during chinese new year, and the color of the logo so cacat, pfft,
However, leave my complaints aside as its so durable!
We have been using it for the 6th year,
And the bag is still able to withhold all (max 8) books we borrowed each time.

Anyways, I love jasmine.. And I'm sad that she is going off overseas very soon..a different route which is very much further than our previous stages.
When would be our next meet, during your marriage? or my marriage? or when one of us have babies.. lol.Its so difficult to determine a precise date.
So far apart, and meetings barriers caused by future plans.
( Young adult angst brewingg out)
But,
I'm glad that we had been bestfriends for such a long period of time(A total of 8yrs) and this afternoon, while shoulders locking with each other, she made me realise we were almost perfect bestfriends,no quarrels no squabbles, no drama throughout the years.
And so much common interest.
So much love, care and clicks.
Like a rare gem that comes across only by fate.
Life changes again. And we grow up, gonna miss her,am glad she had always been in many chapters of my life. Thank you kaka =)

In Memory of
I watched "Hachiko"yesterday afternoon and I adored how loyal the Akita was.
Right after I had completed the movie, I called for my candy girl and talked to her,
She is a good listener:P
(As she prickled her ears and listen attentively at her Mistress's lines of strange words, very different from her own barks)
And told her that she has to wait for me too at the doorstep of the house,
every single time I'm off to somewhere and back home.
This spot candy, no other spot, *pats the floor*
She kissed my leg, I take it as a yes.*glad for fun* :D
God and everyone knows candy is not as smart as the Akita was,
But she would wait on that spot---- provided there was food on that spot.

I went to a pet store this afternoon,
It was fun going to a newly opened pet store(as there weren't a lot of pet stores in my hometown)
to have a good look at various expensive breeds they cater
There were only a few, as it was not a huge store,
Malteses, cross retriever breeds, golden retriever and another kind which I could not recall at this minute.
I stared at each of them, they stared quizically back at me with a different pair of round eyes,
"Hey little buddy, whats up? Hows life in a square block?"
Its a pity that young pups like them had to restricted in a closed area for 2/3 of the day,
And wonder, when would be the time where their tiresome routine would end.
How exactly would that happen,
Are dogs smart to know they were displayed for sell?
Not a fat chance :)

At these two different times,
They reminded me of how important pets were to humans,
And how a connection is formed between a pet and human after a long period of time,
How they would change a person throughout time,
to better loving people, whom earlier, they find awkwardly strange to be.

And to speak of this, I would like to narrate a small part of my own life,
One of my dogs, Smooch, passed away few months back,
I was at college,
And knew of its death through the phone when my mum called,
I grieved and sobbed for a short period.
That was all I thought the fullstop of mourning was placed.
Her sufferings has ended now, may her soul be sent to the "Rainbow bridge" and may she be allowed to enjoy her next level of happiness at a different dimension.

Months later, I returned home during the semester holidays,
The minute I walked to the back of house leading to the kitchen,
I called for my dogs,
Ritaa, Candyyy.. I halted. Smooch..
I was not up for a water works moment.
I felt my eyes burning slowly.
smoochie doochie.
That was what I use to call her if she was late on her steps to greet me.
smoochie doochiee..
Hesitantly,I realised I could not scream that name out.
My heart was doing it.No, she is not here anymore,
Tears start to cascade down my cheeks, I blinked, Rita and Candy were whinning to grab my attention.
I looked at them.
"Girls, how are both of you doing without..smooch?" with smooch's name whispered softly.
Both of them jumped when I spoke, excited over my comeback.
I patted them and wiped the tears away .

The hidden gap was there.
How would I have not known?
Now that I have returned..
Alas.., it has sealed the incomplete connection I had with my deceased dog.
